Refund Policy

Last updated: March 31, 2026. This policy outlines our deposit, cancellation, and refund practices for scalp micropigmentation services.

Deposits

Deposits and booking

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit is applied toward the cost of your first SMP session.

  • The deposit confirms your commitment to the scheduled appointment and reserves the time slot exclusively for you.
  • The remaining balance for each session is due in full at the time of service.
  • Deposits are non-transferable to other individuals.
Cancellations

Cancellation policy

  • 48+ hours' notice: If you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment, your deposit will be refunded in full or applied to your rescheduled appointment.
  • Less than 48 hours' notice: Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • No-shows: Failure to appear for your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the full deposit. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
  • Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled at the artist's discretion. Late arrival cancellations are treated as less-than-48-hour cancellations.

We understand emergencies happen. If an unforeseen emergency prevents you from keeping your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling on a case-by-case basis.

After Treatment

No refunds after procedure

Due to the cosmetic nature of scalp micropigmentation, all services are considered rendered once pigment has been applied to the scalp. Refunds are not available after a session has been performed.

  • SMP results vary based on individual skin type, scalp condition, and adherence to aftercare instructions. Variation in results does not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Pigment appears darker immediately after treatment and will lighten as the scalp heals over 7–14 days. Perceived color differences during the healing period are normal and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • SMP is a multi-session process. The final result is achieved after all recommended sessions are completed, not after a single session.
Touch-Ups

Touch-up policy

  • One complimentary touch-up session is included within 6–8 weeks of completing your final paid session, provided all recommended sessions have been completed.
  • This touch-up addresses minor adjustments such as density refinement or pigment settling.
  • Touch-ups requested after the complimentary window will be billed at our standard touch-up and maintenance rate (see Services).
  • Long-term maintenance touch-ups (recommended every 3–5 years) are separate from the initial treatment package and are billed as individual sessions.
Satisfaction

Our commitment to your satisfaction

We want every client to be happy with their results. Our approach to ensuring your satisfaction:

  • Open communication: During every session, we encourage you to speak up about density, hairline shape, and coverage. Adjustments are much easier to make during the treatment process than after it is complete.
  • Multi-session refinement: SMP is built in layers across multiple sessions. If something does not look right after your first session, the follow-up sessions are designed to refine and perfect the result.
  • Concern escalation: If you have concerns about your results after completing all sessions and the healing period, contact us to schedule a follow-up evaluation. We will work with you to determine the best path forward.
